StoneWood Design projects have been featured in House Beautiful, Sunset Magazine, Bon Appétit, Sacramento Magazine, Kitchens by Professional Designers, The New York Times, and The Sacramento Bee.

Books that have incorporated StoneWood designs include Live-In Kitchens, Kitchen Styles, and Sunset's: Garden Style Decorating.

Additionally, StoneWood Design and Janice Stone Thomas were chosen by the editors of Sunset Magazine to collaborate on the “Sunset Idea House”. A new, custom-built home located in El Dorado Hills, California, the “Sunset Idea House” was inspired by the William Bourn, Jr. home, which was built during the 1890’s in Grass Valley, California.
