Have you ever wanted to be part of a project because you were so inspired by the concept? I was totally on board with East Sac Dental when they approached me with the following design request:  contemporary, urban, and eco-friendly!

Dental Office Design

Patient Waiting Area
Natural elements soothe your dental treatments in this contemporary urban environment.  The dentists built their new offices in a one-story corner building in an East Sacramento neighborhood.  Large expanses of glass connect the clients to the shady, tree-lined street outside while the sound of an interior waterfall welcomes you into the treatment rooms.

Reception
Patients rave about the new space, noting it “feels like a spa.”  The color palette flows through multiple shades of green to compliment the “natural” theme throughout.  Patients attest the various layers of green are both calming and soothing, and we think it softens the sterile equipment in the office.  There’s even a “tree-trunk” coat rack for fun and inspiration!

Waterfall Entrance to Treatment Rooms
The contemporary design supports the underlying fact that this office has all the modern, state-of-the-art equipment and techniques in use here… layers of messages that keep reinforcing the themes.

Treatment Room
East Sac Dental (offices of Paul Phillips, DDS, and Barry Dunn, DDS) at 1273 32nd St. in Sacramento.

The interior was designed by StoneWood Design with input from the East Sac Dental staff.  Space planning was done by Olson Construction.  Lumens Light & Living provided the lighting.  Photography by Dave Adams.
